Recycling and reutilization programs are located throughout Alaska. Assistive Technology (AT) and durable medical equipment (DME) equipment is sanitized, refurbished, and donated or sold at an affordable price to individuals who need it.

The Alaska Trading Post or AK Trading Post (www.aktradingpost.org) is an online searchable database of "gently used" assistive technology (AT) and durable medical equipment (DME) that is available for buy, sell, loan, trade, or give-away. Organizations and individuals enter their items into the database and manage their own inventory. Any Alaskan can make items available of the Trading Post.
